Great upgrade

This is probably one of my favorite upgrades just due to that fact that it looks great and functions just as good. Fitment can be a little bit of a challenge, but take your time and it'll be good.

A few notes:
Buy this with the Thermostatic option!!!! This will allow the oil to come up to normal operating temperature before flowing to the external cooler. This is important. Spend the extra money on it.

The kit will come with some fiberglass insulation to help cover the lines that might come in contact with other parts. For me it wasn't enough and ended up buying some silicone heat rated insulator to over other areas. I bought this at Granger.

The instructions will tell you to install this up side down. I opted not to do so and mounted it with the logo in the upward position. I'm really not sure why Mishimoto states this. Your call though.

I also had to make custom spacers to lower this about 1/4" from the mounting area. There's a support bracket that sits right in front of the external oil cooler that bolts to the crash bar, for what ever reason it was digging into my cooler and leaving marks. Maybe it was just my application. If you experience this, all i did was cut a smaller diameter tube and used that to lower it on the mishimoto mounting bracket. Worth the trouble

Holy moly was this a tedious install. There are no instructions on how to route the oil lines and they don't provide you with the special wrench that you need to tighten the lines. If you have questions on how to route the lines, shoot me a message on Instagram @bojix_nemo and I'll be glad to help out. Took a long time to install but in the end, the oil does run cooler and it looks really great in the front appearance as well. It's a shame though that when you install the cooler onto the brackets, because of the design, the logo is facing the wrong way. Oh well more stealthy I guess :)
