The OEM wishbone engine mount on the Ford Fiesta ST is a known weak link. One of the biggest issues is the OEM rubber that will flex too much, hindering performance during spirited driving. cp-e™ has taken their knowledge and experience with motor mounts, and put it to solving this issue on the Fiesta ST; reducing wheel hop, engine movement, and the performance robbing effects that the stock mount allows.

cp-e™ goes a step above the rest by using an EPDM bushing; a type of rubber. Urethane begins to fail at temperatures as low as 200°F and generally the bushings need a higher durometer rating to hold together. The Fiesta ST rear motor mount is a perfect example of when not to use urethane as many companies do. The location of the mount allows a large amount of heat to be transferred to the bushing. EPDM holds up to this heat, and doesn’t begin to break down and fail. To top it off, EPDM has a higher density than urethane, so the bushing can have a lower durometer rating while keeping high reliability and support. Why is that good? A higher durometer bushing would transfer more vibrations through the vehicle and into the cabin, raising the NVH (noise, vibration, & harshness) value.

All components of the mount is CNC machined out of billet 6061-T6 aluminum and designed to bolt into the stock location without any modifications to the vehicle. Anodized black, and laser engraved for a clean look, the mount assembly is a sure eye pleaser; making you smile every time you change your oil!

Because the new design is more rigid and flex’s less you will experience less wheel hop and engine movement with spirited driving; lowering those lap times at your weekend track days! Essentially, the engine mount allows the car to “hook up” better, and allows easier, more precise shifting.

Top shelf.

Replace the stock RMM. Even if you don’t get this one. It makes the tires hook up better and shifting feels much smoother. I just installed this in my FiST and I’m glad I did. Top shelf craftsmanship. I like the slight amount NVH it added I’m hoping it doesn’t completely go away when it breaks in. What sold me on it was the EPDM rubber and it’s ability to tolerate heat. Easy to install. If you’re on the fence think no longer and upgrade the stock RMM.

Transformation

Absolutely transforms the driving experience. The car feels so much more buttoned down and communicative. NVH goes up a little bit but I personally like it to an extent. The 1-2 shift is butter and it will smoothly spin through 2nd with a tune. NO WHEEL HOP. Installation is straightforward and the provided instructions from CP-E are excellent. I could never go back to a stock mount after this and you'll never go back either!

Perfect

Just installed a week ago. Had a CP-E mount for my mazdaspeed3, decided to use the same company for my FiST.

Mount is awesome. No more motor knock/slap noise for the 1-2 shift, and the shifter feels much better for all shifts. Wheels feel more planted as well, the motor moves so much less.

Some people mentioned increased NVH, I honestly can not tell a difference between the stock mount and this one. Even at idle with a/c on full blast, it is buttery smooth.

Outstanding!!

I was a little concerned about NVH, as some people said you will get additional vibrations in the steering wheel, floor, and seat. I read a comment by a tech who was responding to a complaint a different RMM for the fist saying the NVH was intollerable. The tech said you need to keep the trasmission and motor absolutely level when you switch the RMM and the vibrations will hardly be noticeable. I heeded that advice. I took great care to jack the tranny and keep it as level with the motor as possible. Wow! it has no vibrations whatsoever..NONE! and shifts like clockwork, additionally while I was down there I tightened up all the hose clamps (no boost leaks). CPE you ROCK!

worth the price

very noticeable improvement and the NVH is not bad at all
